Spencer joined Avalon in May 2017 and serves as a financial planner. He works with new and existing clients who consist of closely held business owners, corporate executives, physicians, and other high net worth individuals on various aspects of their financial plan. Spencer’s additional responsibilities include the design and preparation of the Avalon work product – the Financial Blueprint, along with special projects such as cash flow analysis, estate flowcharts, and retirement modeling. Spencer is also actively involved in Avalon’s investment due diligence process and sits in on our Investment Committee. Spencer is a graduate of Butler University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics. He earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation through post-graduate training in investments, insurance, tax, retirement, and estate planning.

In his free time, he stays busy playing golf, watching sports, and spending time with his wife Rebekah and Golden Retriever Rey.
